The Summer Solstice is sold out.  Other concerts currently ticketing are American Stories with the Marbriago Trio and Swingin' on the Moon with Lone Star Lyrical.There are a total of nine more concerts in the Music in the Cave series for 2021. Take a look at the event calendar!

Enjoy an eclectic blend of contemporary acoustic songs, soaring vocals, dynamic instrumentation, and improvisation celebrating the Summer Solstice. Singer/songwriter Rudi Harst (guitar, flute, dulcimer, harmonica, Tibetan bowls) will be accompanied by Ray Palmer (acoustic guitar, synthesizer), Kevin Lewis (bass), Dan Klein (trombone, conch), Kiko Guerrero (cajon), Michael Madison (djembe), and Carl Rush (percussion) with vocals by award-winning actress and vocalist, Anna Gangai.

Some of this concert will be performed in total darkness, illuminated by periods of flickering candlelight, with songs and visuals focused on the interplay of dark and light, which marks the Summer Solstice. Except for the year 2020, due to Covid restrictions, Rudi and his band have performed annual solstice concerts in the cave since 2002.
